the initial consultation
this is usually carried out over the phone to see if we are able to assist you with your design project and to organise an initial in person meeting to look at the site and discuss the project in more detail.

project brief/fee proposal
we will discuss your project with you in person. we will then prepare a fee proposal outlining the services we will be providing and a summary of the project brief for your approval.

once we have received your initial payment we will commence the design process. we will create a 3D model of your project and create realistic renders and a fly though to assist you in interpreting the design. We will provide you with a comprehensive e-document with mood boards, layouts, materials and plant palettes and associated schedules, as well as model renders and a link to the design video.

during this stage we respond to your feedback on our initial design presentation and incorporate any changes and resolve any issues that you have identified. we allow for three major revisions in our fees to allow for this review process.

finalisation
once we have completed the design development and you are happy with the design, we finalise the project in accordance with the terms of our fee proposal. Depending on the nature of the project this may be the end of the design journey, and we will provide you with a full construction and implementation drawing set. In the case of house designs/extensions we will move on to the next step below.

In the case of house designs/extensions we will now provide another fee proposal to take the design through to construction. This will include the detailed drafting to take the design through building approval and to provide issued for construction (ifc) drawings.

we prefer to wait until we have finalised the concept design so that we have a clear understanding of the design before we quote. We find this can often save you money and ensures we give an accurate cost for our drafting services.
